I just thought I had a lot of trouble with this assignment. I was looking at it from a different veiw point. I was searching for an article that answered each one of the questions. Once I finally figured out what to do it went smoothly. I enjoyed this assignment beacause it allowed me to see what college professors go through when grading an assignment from their students when suspected of plagarizing. I don't know if I will ever be able to use this program when I teach elementary students but it is usefull to know.

Course Reflection
I really enjoyed this computer course. I had different expectations when I started this course. I thought this class was going to teach us the basic functions of the most common computer programs that we use as teachers. I learned so many interesting things that I can use when I begin teaching.
Designing the website was the most interesting assignment to me. I have always wanted to know how to design a site. I plan to use a website when I get my own classroom. I also encountered some problems while making my site. The movie assignment was of great interest to me as well. I have always wanted to learn to use this program on my computer. The step by step directions were perfect in teaching me to use the program.
I always knew that professors could tell when students plagiarized but I didn’t know how they did it. This assignment was great. Concept mapping is a great way for students to get a visualization of the new topic or skill. I think I watched the video three times before I got my assignment correct, but once I got the hang of it I really enjoyed it. The program inspiration is a great tool in making concept maps. I scored really well on this assignment.
I did encounter a few problems throughout the semester. Most of the problems were because I skipped a step in the instructions or because of the operating system my computer has. I had to change lots of setting on my computer for the assistive technology assignment. I had to really search and look for the different ways to change the settings. In fact, I still have a setting that I do not know how to change back! Overall I believe that I did well in this class. I learned many tools and operations that will help in my teaching career.
My weak points in this class were the discussions questions and responses. I could not remember to reply and comment on other student’s posts. I read all the comments I just would always tell myself that I would comment later and then I would forget. The interaction between the peers and me was very good and informative. Other than through e mail I talked to several peers on a weekly basis in another face to face class I had. We discussed strategies and assignments and gave each other confidence and tips. We also reminded each other of upcoming assignments. I think this was very helpful to all of us.

Assistive Technology Reflection
This assignment was so difficult for me to complete because the instructions were not for whatever operating system that I currently use. I learned alot from this assignment but I had to really dig for how to change the setting on my computer. I was still unable to figure out one slide but I did enjoy this assignment. I believe that I will now be able to assist all students whether or not they have a disability.

I think this is the first assignment that I actually completed on time and was excited about. I have always wanted to know how to make a website. I had fun creating it. I only had one difficulty with some of the technical parts of it but over all I truly enjoyed this assignment.

Web Tools Assignment Reflection
I enjoyed this assignment. I have heard some of my peers talking about the rubistar website and I never knew really what and how this site worked. I plan to use rubrics more in my lesson plan assessments so this site will be very helpful. I also have never heard of the trackstar website. I think this could be very useful in my teaching career. I had some difficulty with this part of this assignment. For some reason I put in a password to access my track so I had to go back in and make another track without a password. I plan to use all these web tools in my classroom one day.

Google Group Assignment Reflection
I have found that group work in an online class can be very challenging. Tonja was the first to create our group so she was the leader. She contacted us by e mail and told us everything was set up for us to log in and join the group. Once I accepted her invitation I had to wait until she logged back in and opened the group. After joining the group Tonja and I posted a question for everyone to answer. There were supposed to be three questions posted so since we have three people in our group I assumed that each person would post one question each. It’s hard to get everyone to understand and do what is required when you are communicating through e mail only. Tonja did all the communicating in this class as far as getting everyone started and all and I am very thankful she took the initiative.
I think I have completed everything in the assignment other than this reflection. I am eager to see everyone’s web page that has the educational websites and explanations. It’s nice to get ideas from other people and use them when planning lessons and activities for the students. After all two heads are better than one. I hope that everyone can use my web sites that I posted.
I have never used g mail before and never knew there was such a thing as a Google group. I think this could be helpful with my classes in the future.
