CONCEPT MAP REFLECTION

I was very intimidated when I read the assignment description and viewed the examples for the concept mapping assignment. Once I downloaded the program, watched the video, and played around with the program I fell in love with inspiration. I would love to have this available to me when I get my own classroom one day. I love the way you can view the map in diagram mode and as an outline. This could be very useful when planning lessons. I enjoyed the project and hope I did everything that the assignment asked. I plan on using this program when planning my thematic unit for another class this summer.Click here for a link to my map.

Blog 1 Introduction

My name is Gena Fortenberry. I am the mother of a two year old little boy named Tucker. I have a wonderful husband of 6 years. His name is Billy. I am a teacher's assistant at L.C. Hatcher Elementary School in Lucedale. I am currently in my senior block at USM. I am so ready to graduate! I am not very computer orientated. I hope to learn alot from this class that I can use in my career.
